“My journey with Inspira started with a chance gift my wife gave me a few years ago for my 40th birthday. She knew that I’d wanted to try out strength training with a personal trainer.

As a former competitive athlete, I was never the person that dreaded working out. I had managed to stay reasonably active in one form or another over the years, but never with the benefit of anyone really looking after what I was doing.

I wasn't interested in the scene of the big chain gyms — in fact quite the opposite: I was drawn to the boutique and cozy nature of Inspira, which felt a bit more like an extension of home.

What I found in my weekly training sessions with Chas was the perfect combination of hard work and personally-tailored focus on injury prevention and overall wellness. There is now an efficiency to my workouts that I really appreciate, as well as someone I know is in my corner in all things health related.

How Our Personal Training Works

Individualized personal training is our specialty. Our philosophy is to prescribe quality movement patterns designed to challenge you based on your current capabilities. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to exercise and we have the experience to identify areas where improvements can be made to help you maximize your results.

Quick fixes are not sustainable and we do not subscribe to short-term agendas. Results take time, but less can often be more and a carefully designed programmed can yield tremendous results. Above all, I value what big box gyms can’t: relationships with our clients. Together we can make a significant difference in the quality of your life.

Virtual or In-Studio?

While there are benefits to machines and equipment, the key to a good workout and program is thoughtful and highly-personalized exercise prescription. This is my in-studio philosophy, and it carries over surprisingly well to virtual training. In fact, I have found that personal in-home training can often ‘tick all the boxes’. It’s about designing an effective program coupled with the consistency of performance.

My in-studio sessions allow us to take advantage of a fully-equipped, cutting-edge, 3,000-square-foot facility, providing clients with a variety of ways to find the exercises that are most suitable for their needs. The space has been redesigned to safely and thoughtfully accommodate our clients for the world we now live in, and we’re excited to welcome you whenever you’re ready. As you might imagine, I take the health of our clients very seriously, so you can count on us to take good care of you.
